Dr. Dean Jones was born in Trenton, Georgia and graduated from Pell City High School. He then joined the Air Force where he served for 4 years on active duty and an additional 2 years in the reserve. He was stationed in San Antonio, Chanute Air Force Base, IL; RAF Lakenheath, England; Shaw Airforce Base, SC; and Maxwell Airforce Base, Montgomery, AL.
In 1990, Dr. Jones graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science. In 1995, Dr. Jones graduated from Auburn University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Since then, he has practiced in Alaska, Virginia, Alabama, and Georgia.
Dr. Jones has two handsome children: Kai and Russell. His professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
